Who processes the data

Quote and contact form data
When you send a quote request we collect only what you type in: name, phone, e-mail, location of the site, whether you need installation, the shape of the staircase, your description and up to three attached photos. We use this solely to answer your request and prepare an offer – we do not sell it or pass it on for marketing.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). The request is stored on our server and e-mailed to our inbox.
To keep spam bots out we hold the sending device’s IP address in server memory for up to one hour. It is not written to disk and is not linked to your request.
Cookies and visitor statistics
The website works without cookies. No statistics cookie is stored before you agree. We use Google Analytics 4 together with Google’s Consent Mode: before you make your choice, only an anonymous, cookieless signal about the page view is sent to Google, from which you cannot be identified. Once you agree, statistics are collected normally. The data is aggregated; we cannot see an individual person or their contact details.
- _ga, _ga_… – Google Analytics, distinguishes visitors for statistics. Valid for up to 2 years. Only with consent.
- ta_consent – browser localStorage, remembers your cookie choice so you are not asked again. Kept until you clear your browser data.
- ta_sess – only for the site owner when signing in to manage the gallery, valid 12 hours. Ordinary visitors never receive it.
If you decline, no statistics cookie is stored on your device and Google continues to receive only an anonymous, non-identifying signal.
Who we share data with
The website is hosted by our service provider and statistics are processed by Google Ireland Limited. There are no other third parties. Data is disclosed further only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are kept for up to 3 years so that we can find earlier correspondence if a question or a warranty issue comes up. Google Analytics visitor data is retained for up to 14 months. You can always ask us to delete your request sooner.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its use and to object to processing. Write to trepiabi@trepiabi.ee and we will reply within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee).
Changing your consent
You can change your cookie choice at any time – the dialog opens again and you can answer differently.
